Are you looking to change a life? If so, you’ve come to the right place! Our programs deeply impact hundreds of participants each year and we need your help to make it all happen. At both Bearskin Meadow Camp and Camp de los Niños, DYF hires some of the most enthusiastic and dedicated individuals in the United States and beyond. Camp staff is the backbone of DYF and it is their sense of creativity and professionalism that make our programs a success. We are always seeking individuals who are dedicated, creative, patient, incredibly hard working, and can function in an environment with high demands and long hours. Knowledge of diabetes is an asset but is not required.
Opportunities are available at DYF’s summer resident camps – Bearskin Meadow Camp (Sequoia National Forest) and Camp de los Niños (Boulder Creek). Paid positions include kitchen and maintenance staff, counseling staff, program staff, management and leadership staff.
Do I need to know about diabetes?
You don’t need to be a diabetes expert to apply for a position with us! We will teach you everything you need to know in our pre-camp training and we will always pair you up with an experienced staff member. Some of our best staff have started with no diabetes knowledge-the next one could be you!
Year round volunteer opportunities!
DYF is always recruiting volunteers to lend a hand at our numerous year round events. From our Family Retreats to our one day adventure programs, we are always in need of responsible, fun, and qualified individuals to help make our programs possible.
