The DYF Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Kaylor Glassman will serve as DYF’s Interim Executive Director, effective immediately. Her DYF involvement began in 1997, when she attended Family Camp for the first time, after being diagnosed with T1D at age 2. Since then, Kaylor participated in DYF programs every summer as a camper and then counselor before joining the full-time staff team in 2015. Prior to accepting the Interim Executive Director position, Kaylor served as Director of Programs, overseeing all camp programs, leading the Healthcare Professional Advisory Board, and moving DYF’s strategic plan forward with sustainable, successful programs. Her experience leading high quality, impactful programs and deep commitment to the DYF family will benefit our entire T1D community.
We are excited that Kaylor has agreed to serve in this capacity as we navigate the challenges facing DYF due to COVID-19. DYF is committed more than ever to building upon our recent successes, working to support those affected by type 1 diabetes so they may lead full, healthy, beautiful lives.
